3 different formats, so you can chose what fits your schedule best.
What is different about Austin Birth Ed Classes?
Austin Birth Ed embraces a more wholistic approach to childbirth education. Covering the last few weeks of pregnancy, all the way through the initial postpartum period, we aim to give you all the information you may need to choose the birth that is right for you. Our community connections ensure you are able to build a reliable care team to help you navigate your pregnancy.

Private Refresher Class
T his course is perfect for those where this isn’t your first birth, but you’d still like to brush up on a few things. We review important information about labor, and cover comfort techniques, so you can be sure the information is fresh for your upcoming birth.
Childbirth Education
Taught in one of 3 formats, our childbirth education class begins in late pregnancy and helps you navigate those last few weeks, and your birth. When faced with, what seems like, and endless amount of choices; we ensure you are informed of your options so you can make the decisions that work best for you!
Early Pregnancy
This early pregnancy course helps you understand what to expect as you embark on this exciting journey. Learn about basic pregnancy nutrition, complementary care for pregnancy comfort, and building a birth team that aligns with your wishes.
Childbirth Education Class Formats
Virtual
This class format is completely online. We meet via zoom for 4 evenings, with 2 hours sessions. Ideal for those with a busy schedule or prefer learning in the comfort of their own home.

Hybrid
Our hybrid model comprises of 2 evening classes, 2 hours each and one 4 hours in person Saturday session. I deal for those who want the best of both worlds, convenience, and hands on instruction.

Private
Customized class content in your personalized course, done in multiple or single sessions. This 4-5 hours class allows for one on one interaction to make sure you get all the information you need for the birth ahead.

Virtual Breastfeeding Course
Natural Breastfeeding was created by Nancy Mohrbacher IBCLC, FILCA and Theresa Nesbitt RN, MD from their passion for caring for helping parents breast/chestfeed. This fantastic class is fully online and available to take at your pace, whenever and wherever you are! Plus, once you have purchased this class, you have LIFETIME access. That means that you can come back and refresh your memory anytime in your breastfeeding journey, and even in your next pregnancy!
